Please note you can only change the role of a user if you are the Purchaser or and Editor.

If you want to change the role of a user, for instance from an Author to a Reader, you can do so easily. In the dashboard in the Friends and Family section, click on the role of that person. This brings up a dialogue box where you can change the role of the user as desired. Click "Save" when you're done.
